Why do you want to get into the service mode ?
kip -- "Watch the return E-Mail addy its false" "Gee Chuang" wrote in message om... Hi all, I have a brand new Sony PFM-42V1 42" plasma display. first, anyone know how to get in the service mode? I wanna try to restore settings to factory defacult. The problem: It worked fine for about a day, but now when I plug in the DVD player to S-vidoe or composite inputs, the picture is shrunken and skewed off to the side. In addition, there are a lot of flickering green patches superimposed on top of the image. The dvd player works fine on my other regular tv. The plasma displays my VGA input from laptop just fine, and also displays a PAL source (linksys media adapter) through the s-video just fine. Again, the dvd player is confirmed to display correctly on another tv. Any ideas? the noise/static is mostly green and covers the whole screen and is superimposed on top of the shrunken picture from the dvd player. Also, any one know how to get into the service mode on this plasma model? |
