Default Mitsubishi CS27MX1 PIP Problem

I have a Mits CS27MX1 that had the typical PIP problem of no main or PIP
video. I checked all the electrolytics for ESR and replaced all the bad
ones, including some inside the shield. Main and PIP video returned but
PIP video is yellowish-orange. I don't have a schematic and SAMS does
not list this model. Two questions:

1. What can cause the strange color?
2. Is this model similar to a CS27EX1 or CS27TX1?

Thanks for any info.

Corroded trace on the board, possibly under the chip. Rule of thumb on
these is if the corrosion has reached the chip, don't bother to rebuild it.
If you must, remove the chip and repair the traces and reinstall. Also,
just replace ALL of the caps when doing these. You likely missed some leaky
ones if you only tested ESR. Leaky caps often test fine for ESR. You have
to use the smell test.

Bottom line is, bypass it if the coolant got under the chip, and don't waste
your time.
