Samsung SyncMaster 753DF, tick-tick-tick
I've got a Samsung SyncMaster 753DF screen that has a problem: when
the power is on I don't get anything else than a tick-tick-tick... sound. I've looked at Sam's repair FAQ, but I'd like to know if there's someone that knows what the problem could be first. Also, what shorted HOT means? (Horiz Transistor is shorted?) BTW, I hate their service manual. |

Something is shorted, should be simple but you'll need a multimeter with a diode check function. Also, what shorted HOT means? (Horiz Transistor is shorted?) Yes, good chance that's the problem too. BTW, I hate their service manual. Wouldn't know, I've never used a service manual to fix something. |
