I've got a Samsung SyncMaster 753DF screen that has a problem: when

I've looked at Sam's repair FAQ, but I'd like to know if there's
someone that knows what the problem could be first.

Also, what shorted HOT means? (Horiz Transistor is shorted?)

BTW, I hate their service manual.
