Hi, I'm having problems with a camcorder. After powering it one, it
will immediately shutdown without any warning. This happens whether I
am using the battery or direct power supply.

Are there any ways that I can diagnosis certain issues? I have not
taken apart the case yet, I don't have any ideas of what I should be
checking for at the moment.

I'd like to repair/correct this problem by myself, I plan on using the
cameara for outdoor hobbies, and don't want to have to worry about
having money invested in it.
