I have one of these receivers which I can't use on AM radio becuase it
will only tune in at 10KHz steps but in my area stations are allocated in 9KHz increments. According to the manual it can tune in 9KHz OR 10KHz steps but no info on how to set it. I presume it's factory set as a regional thing, so how mine became incorrectly set I can't imagine. TIA |

All Aussie am is 9Khz separation. Contact Panasonic and as them how to set it? Look on the tuner board or near the micro. see if the is a jumper for 9 or 10 Kc sep. TIA I found the manual (eventually - the site mis-spelt 'Technics'!) and it doesn't *appear* to be a link change job, it may be programming. I can send you the manual as a PDF if you like (it was compressed with RAR on the site, which I've gone and lost, but if you search with the model number and manual as keywords you should find it).
