Default Touch screen problem with samsung txn2771hf

I have a samsung TXN2771HF that acts very strangly. The front panel
controls, ie volume and channel, will change by themselves. The
closer your hand is to the panel the more wierd it acts. I'm
thinking that maybe the touch panal has gone bad but I was thinking
maybe someone has seen this before.

If this is indeed defective does anyone have a part number or a shop
that might sell me one.

Thanks

Jeff

Yes, the membrane and probably the switch assy underneath need to be
replaced...the fix has shown NOT to provide as light a touch to actuate
as origional parts...IMHO a very poor design.
