Dell 991 Trinitron
I have a Dell 991 Trinitron monitor that when cold looses communication with
my PC during a refresh It only does it when I first go on line ... after it warms up it's fine None of the settings have been changed since first installed about 2 years ago ... it is still connected to the same PC. It wouldn't do it every time at first but after 2 months it's doing it every time I go on line. Any suggestions? Tom |

There are most likely some components that have become thermo sensitive in
the signal path, or sync processing. Capacitors, when aged have a greater tendency of becoming thermo sensitive. With proper troubleshooting this can be serviced. If the emission of the CRT is still very strong, it may be worth to send it out for proper service. -- Jerry G. ====== "invntrr" wrote in message news:F%osd.1515$wa3.1105@trnddc02...
