Dell P991 Trinitron Shadow Problem
Hi,
I have 3 year old Dell P991 Trinitron 18" monitor that recently started having a problem with shadows around dark text on white backgrounds.. While I'm typing this, there are gray bands that go through each line of text and extend the either side of the monitor. If I highlight the text with the mouse cursor, the band that I'm highlighting gradually gets darker. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Is it worth fixing? Thanks Charlie |
