Default Need help locating tuner module for Sharp TV

Sharp
Model # - 27N-S50
Serial - 616853
Manufactured Feb. 2000

Need tuner module. The coax connector is broke off. No info on tuner
module. Need part # and/or supplier of modules, if at all possible.

A less costly approach would be to re-solder the old connector or a new one.
As long as the pcb is not broken you can carefully solder on a the
connector.... done all the time.

Part number VTUVTST5UF78S about $40 to $60.00.. Better off doing what sofie
says, replace the rf connector

Use the RCA Teflon one it will take the HEAT.

When I was doing this for a living, this was a part number I had
memorized. :-)

RCA part # 215543
While this Teflon "F" connector is designed especially for TCE television on
board tuners it can be utilized in virtually all tuner module repair jobs
bearing in mind that all or some of the mounting tabs may have to be twisted
off in order to flush mount and solder. Also the center pin tab may be too
wide to fit into most OEM tuner module pcbs so it will have to be filed down
or most of it cut off to allow a short jumper wire to be soldered in place.
