Need help locating tuner module for Sharp TV
Sharp
Model # - 27N-S50 Serial - 616853 Manufactured Feb. 2000 Need tuner module. The coax connector is broke off. No info on tuner module. Need part # and/or supplier of modules, if at all possible. Thanks so much. |
A less costly approach would be to re-solder the old connector or a new one.
As long as the pcb is not broken you can carefully solder on a the connector.... done all the time. -- Best Regards, Daniel Sofie Electronics Supply & Repair - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Preferred Customer" wrote in message ... RCA part # 215543
While this Teflon "F" connector is designed especially for TCE television on board tuners it can be utilized in virtually all tuner module repair jobs bearing in mind that all or some of the mounting tabs may have to be twisted off in order to flush mount and solder. Also the center pin tab may be too wide to fit into most OEM tuner module pcbs so it will have to be filed down or most of it cut off to allow a short jumper wire to be soldered in place. -- Best Regards, Daniel Sofie Electronics Supply & Repair - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Tom MacIntyre" wrote in message ...
