Default Sony Profeel KX2501

Hi;

I happen to own this one. I forgot all about it until I read the XBR Post.

Mine needs an HSTAT as well, but it's not disconnectable from the flyback. This
thing has a fantastic tube in it and I do have the matching tuner and even a
stereo decoder for it (MLV1100).

I've tried splicing in one for a normal 26" Sony and I didn't want to glue
everything until I knew it worked. Good and bad, the control was out of range,
but I got a nasty shock in the process. The HSTAT was used but it was pulled
from a set with a known other trouble. Does anyone know if this was possibly
just a bad pull, or can someone tell me if they are indeed incompatible, like
if the HSTAT drop is different on the Profeel CRT.

If anyone has my part, or if I CAN use an available HSTAT, I'd like to get it
running. If I can't do that I'd like to make the other parts available (very
reasonable, or free for minor items), and probably sell the tuner(s).

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time.
