Default unlocking radio

Battery went dead on my toyota car and now the
radio has the antitheft lockout set.. I just purshased
this car and have no idea what the code is..Nearest
toyota dealer is 75 miles and they want $45.00 to
unlock it . Can anyone tell me how to do it myself.

Ps. SEC was in the display to start with but now
it has the word HELP....which it what I need!!

Call another dealer and ask them what the code is. You may need the VIN
number or serial number off the radio. Did you try a google search for
"toyota radio code"?

Called other dealers but all said it would have to come in to the service
department and had about the same fee.

Google search comes up with services that claim they
can give me a code from the serial # after being payed by
paypal, $38.00 but I don't know if they are a reputable dealer.

Did you look in the owners manual packet in the glove box for the little
credit card thing that has the factory code on it?

I searched all over in the material that was in the glovebox
but could find no code...

Has anyone used any online service that they would recomend for the
code???????
