Default Philips 105s - clicking

I'm trying to repair a Philips 105s monitor that 'clicks' when you turn it
on. The power light on the front flashes in time with the clicking sound
(about once a second, maybe a little quicker).
I did a little research, and found that the likely cause was a faulty hot, I
removed it and tested it for shorts, but it seems to be ok (not obviously
faulty, but I know it still could be).
That was almost a year ago, and I've finally decided I should try and fix it
again. The hot has been sat on my desk all this time, so I'm going to order
a replacement (if it wasn't broken when I removed it, it probably is now!).

Out of interest I decided to take a few measurements using an ohm meter
across where the hot goes (without the hot in place). This is what I found:
(Ground being the earth pin)
Emitter-ground = 0.2ohms
Collector-ground = .3m ohms
Base-ground = 1.1ohms
Emitter-base = 1.1ohms
Base to emitter or collector = 0.6m ohms
Are those very low readings correct?!? if not, what do you suggest I check
next?
Thanks,
Daniel.
