Default RCA TV F32650 - No Power - Clicking when powered

I have an RCA 32" TV with some VPORT, Guide+ blah blah

Anyway, last night, POP! picture went out and began clicking..

I had to unplug the unit to stop the clicking. No response from the set
power button and no change in clicking when plugged in. It only clicks
constantly.

Any help appreciated. Sounds like a power supply or relay...

Thanks in advance!

The horizontal output transistor is most likely failed. The flyback may also
need replacing. When this happens, the power supply may also need service.

If you are not skilled and equipped to do TV service, you will have to send
the set out for service.

Thanks, I tried plugging it back in earlier and it popped, maybe a fuse and
now no noise.

Off to the shop...

Thanks Jerry

That POP! on initial failure was flyback blown and blew the horizontal
transistor. This short load makes power supply buzz till it blew next
like you saw.

Oh darn...more damage but that's not too bad actually.

Get it to shop is what exactly right thing to do.

Cheers,

Wizard
