Well, this unit came into my shop with blown secondary fuses (2 x
1,25A) which appears to feed the low power section of this unit.
(+/-12V for op-amps and such). The fuses doesn't really look *blown*,
(they're not black) so there seems to be some slight overload.
I actually replaced the fuses and the set operates correct. After 10
on/off procedures the fuses passes away again.
The internal fuse wire can be seen to bend a bit each time the power
is turned on (brought out of standby). This indicates an overload
condition.
There are markings on each of the fuse, B+ and B-.
Since I haven't got the service manual for this machine, and I
certainly hope I won't need one thanks to you guys, I like to know
what actually B+ and B- supplies. Is the poweramp involved in these
lower voltages too?
The main supply for the poweramp seems ok, generating rails of +/-
46Volts.

Any advice is appreciated,

Have you felt around the op amps or IC's when its running for one that's
much hotter than the others? Did you check the voltage regulators (if it
has any either IC or zenar)?
