Mid 80s Hitachi 19 inch picture tube problem.
In the mid 1980s I worked for a company where we repaired hundreds of
Hitachi tvs a month. A very few had a problem with ghosting which looked exactly like a faulty delay line or a capacitor in the delay line area. The problem was always the crt. I've always wondered what kind of defect in the crt could cause this problem. Does anyone know? Thanks. Chuck. |
