Default Mitsubishi CS-2610R Too Bright with Vertical Roll

I've resoldered all the ringed & cold solder joints that I could find &
also replaced a few vertical caps but still have the same symptoms. Any
tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Mark

ESR the rest of thecaps in the set and replace any that check marginal. Also
, if your set has the PIP board, it will need extensive repairs also. BTW,
dos the On Screen Menu also roll or just the station video materials?

Thanks for your advice. This model has no PIP board. The OSD doesn't
roll but it does jitter. Pic has bad IF AGC overload.
Pic is also washed out & slightly out of focus.

That TV is old enough to have the old style goop Mits used to secure parts to
the bottom of the board(usually for running production changes); this stuff
turns brown with age and becomes corrosive/conductive. Carefully scrape off any
and all brown stuff around small parts on both sides of main board.
