Pioneer SD-P55A3-K projo, I think you're right Jammy @ ampdoc
With reference to an earlier post where this Pioneer projo has bowed in
sides, I agree with Jammy that the service menu would not fix this. I resoldered all ring cracks that I could see ( I felt like this was a remanufacturing) and checked electrolytics in the power supply and pincushion areas I also checked mylars in the horizontal deflection area. I am looking at the damper/pin diode (D212 CO21M-15), the pin amps (Q104/Q105/Q106 D2399) and the B+ regulator (D1276A). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Incidently Jammy, I tried to email you but hotmail could not deliver. Thanks ahead. Ron -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |

To e-mail me remove NOSPAM from the address.
You may find some problems if the amp assembly is defective. Common failure in that set, check the fuses and make sure that no one has put larger fuses in the + and - 25V lines to the amp assembly. They are next to the SMPS transformer on the power/defl. assembly. They should be 4A, If it does have larger fuses then the amp assembly may be pulling too much current and drawing down the power supply's secondary. -- Jammy Harbin J & J Electronics, Inc. 227 S. 4th St. Selmer, TN 38375 731-645-3311 "Ron Novini" wrote in message news:9c9cae646ce212aa4b43c8c36a8ca88f.123933@mygat e.mailgate.org...
