Default "Speech(SVE)" problem with Samsung Wide Screen

Hi.

I have posted about this intermittent problem before, but now have narrowed
it down a bit.

The symptom with this Samsung WS32Z6HR wide screen TV, since we bought it
new less than a year ago, has been, every few minutes, a slight flash, then
a loss of colour for a fraction of a second, then loss of sound for a second
or so. We placed a service call under warranty, but the problem completely
disappeared. Now, several months later, I changed the sound setting from
'standard' to 'Speech(SVE)". Problem came back. I changed it between
"Standard" and "Speech(SVE)" several times, and am quite sure that the
problem is specific to the "Speech(SVE)" setting. By the way, according to
the TV manual, SVE stands for "Samsung Voice Enhancement Technic".

I am not about to rip into this TV myself, but would like some opinion as to
where the problem might be, so I can pass on that information to the
serviceman.

Thank you.

Henry
