Most likely there are failed components in the power supply and or the scan
circuits. There are not any specifics in most of these monitors. Properly troubleshooting it will determine the exact failures. -- Greetings, Jerry Greenberg GLG Technologies GLG ========================================= WebPage http://www.zoom-one.com Electronics http://www.zoom-one.com/electron.htm ========================================= "Gerald Spindler" wrote in message y.telekom.at... hello, i have one of this monitors here, Fuse 4A was blown in the main supply, no led is lighnig, no reaction on pressing the power button... never had one of these seems to be a mitsubishi chassis?! anyone has some suggestions?? regards gerald -- __________________________________________________ _____________ e-Mail security scan by Symantec Norton Antivirus 2003 successfully completed. |

Gerald:
Most of the time, when you find a blow fuse in a monitor, the problem is in the primary side of the switching power supply. Check the FET transistor (on the heatsink). If that is OK, then check the rectifier diodes (or bridge rectifier) near where the AC enters the main circuit board. John |
