Monitor came in with no pix symptom. Collector of HOT had 150vdc,
1200ppv with reduced frequency and a squashed waveform. Changed Q5G1 (2SJ306) wich was short and pix came back with always increasing brightness until shutdown. Also changed Q2001 (A1L4M)=nte2360 witch was open but the problem remains the same. Flyback rings OK with R5U1 lifted and HOT tests good. On techforce's advice changed HOT and B+ is now stable. Picture now has hourglass shape and there is no user control of pin or width. |

NTE2359 = A1L4M
One is PNP other is NPN. Replace HOT With Original (or a Very Close Sub) at the same time as with a NEW FET. Try 2SJ307. The Key Is Replacing the 2 parts at the Same time, because one can degrade the other. "RobertDubord" wrote in message ... Monitor came in with no pix symptom. From what I could understand, A1L4M=AN1L4M=NTE2360 PNP, but then I
could be mistaken. I will change the 2SJ307 and see what happens. "techforce" a écrit dans le message news: ... NTE2359 = A1L4M One is PNP other is NPN. Changed 2SJ306 for 2SJ307 and no change. At 1024x768 resolution,
collector of HOT reads 75VDC, 1134PPV at 34.9675kHz. This seems O.K. Still have hourglass and width control problem. ie. can't adjust these while other adjustments work well.
