Default laser physics relant 300wc

I recently bought laser physics relant 300wc with a excalibur scanning
engine mounted on the same board with it. I have to get it to a local
shop to see if it works. My question is, "working or not, what is this
thing worth?" Is it worth fixing? Im not looking to keep, but to get
ride of it. Wwhen this thing was new, I guess this thing started out
around $10,000 and went up to $14,000.
Is this correct?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thx,

Rich Hopper

This is not a buying-and-selling group.
You are looking for a group with one of the following in its name:

Here are the specs:
(From: http://www.dzlaser.com/index.php?ID=74)

Reliant 300WC

Output power 30mW to 300mW adjustable
Wavelength 488nm-647nm Multiline
Multimode, Polarized
Current controlled power regulation

The range of wavelenths makes it a mixed gas (Ar/Kr) ion laser outputting blue,
green, yellow, and red. That would be quite desirable if it is in working
condition.

If it is working to spec, then perhaps $1-3K, a bit more or less.

If it is not working, not much though, especially if the tube is bad.

You should be able to power just the laser and measure the output power.

The optics in the scan engine will also be worth something.
