I need a replacement type or a datasheet for an Ixys IXFH1555 maybe
n-channel 500V 15-20A mosfet. It worked in a wig welding inverter.

Hi, if you don't get the responses you're looking for, you might try
s.e.j.r. or r.c.m. newsgroups. There are quite a few welder-types that
repair their own equipment.

You might try putting the welder brand name and model in the subject line
for posting at these other newsgroups.

And don't tell them you're welding wigs.

Do you mean IXFH15N55?

FWIW, this is the datasheet for an IXFH/IXFM 15N60:

Family, 600V, 15A, 0.50 ohm Rds(on)

I suspect yours may be 550V, 15A.
