Default Repairs to Cotter Pre-amp

I have a Cotter Pre-amp circa 1982 that is in need of repair. The
interlocking push-button switches are failing. Does anyone know of
either 1) a place that repairs Cotter amps or 2) a supplier of the
switches used in the cotter pre-amp?

Can you open up one of the switches and try cleaning the contacts? If not
working now, what do you have to lose?

Default Repairs to Cotter Pre-amp

Hi Bob,

Thats a good idea and I've already been down that track. I've had a
professional repair person look at the switches. As I understand it
the contacts in the switches have deteriorated with time and some have
broken. For example there are three interlocking switches on the
front allowing you to select from one of four inputs, (all switches
out is one input). The switch for input two is broken and I think the
switch for input four has recently gone as well. I've been told of
another Cotter owner who had similar problems.

So its really a case of finding some replacement switches, or finding
an enthusiast who could rebuild the amp, probably in a new chassis, or
the old chassis with a new front plate to accommodate any changes to
the swithces.

Thanks
