This post just to share with the community a repair brief for
Nordmende FUTURA 72 BSP (Nordmende/saba/thomson/telefunken infaust
ICC5 chassis).

Symptom: noisy screen; some dirty hiss (hi frequency) coming and going
from LOPT/HOT area.
The noise in the screen was such that vertical lines in images became
all irregularly indented. Screen instable.

Solution was to replace CL48 (0,012uF in my rig), the flyback
resonator.
... I never heard of hissing caps before ....indeed it was arching
inside.

Hope this help to prevent some TV from going in the trash.
