Default Odd Phillips T.V. problem.

I have two Phillips 27" T.V.'s, model # 27PT5245/37, just out of
warranty with an odd problem. They are both intermittent dead sets. But
mostly they both stay in standby, unless you start unloading the SMPS
secondaries. If you remove the TDA2616 audio IC on one set, it will
work, then if you put the "bad" IC back in the other set, it works. Has
anyone seen this? Philips says replace the tact switches, but that
makes no difference. Dani.
