JVC 32 " T.V. dead.
JVC Model # AV-36980 Chassis # A 70, was at another shop, but in good
condition. Found the SMPS STRF6626 regulator shorted, replaced it, & C926 1000 uf @ 50 volt capacitor, everything else checked fine, plug in, & at turn on, instantly, the fuse blows .....flash, regulator gone again. Didn't even try to start. Anything common on this unit? Thanks, Dani. |

STRF-6626 has lot of self-protection built in but one thing this IC can't protect against is bad damping circuit, any shorted diodes in outputs and bad transformer. Cheers, Wizard |
