Samsung HCR4751WX/XAC killing 25 dollar HOT like crackers.
Even resorted to replacing whole deflection/power board with another.
Pow, HOT shorted, not instantly. BTW, this is under warranty and flyback transformer on previous board was replaced along with HOT several months ago and is working till then. So I was thinking of pulling two HV leads and cap the openings on HV divider and run unit, then unplug and plug another CRT into HV divider till I find bad CRT that is responsible for this HOT eating issue? Will that be a problem this way to troubleshoot? This had happened anytime, hours even a second. Cheers, Wizard |
