Default NEO GEO Work Ram Error

Hello,

I am working on SNK Neo Geo 4 slot coin op arcade board. It comes up
with a "Work Ram error" when it boots. I have checked all of the work
ram using a Huntron and another similar system comparing the results to
a known working unit but I can't find any problems. I have a few of
these boards with these kind of problems. I am thinking that it might
be that a trace is broken or shorted, more likely broken. And here is
my question. If a trace is broken on one of these 26 pin SMD RAM chips
wouldn't there be some kind of sign when checking the pins on this RAM
chip? Wouldn't the broken trace show some kind of non-loading? Since
it was tied to something and now it is not using a ?? with the power
off? wouldn't there be a method of locating the open? The traces are
complex going from one side to the other and very hard to check on the
7, 26 pin chips. Is there a easy way to check for an open on this kind
of problem?

Thanks
Uriah
