connect phonograph and reciever turns off
My Yamaha reciever was working fine for years.
Then I connected a turntable to the phono jack. The turntable works, the sound comes out, but within a few minutes the reciever completely shuts off. anyone know why? |

Is the turntable's power cord plugged into the power outlet receptacle
on the rear of the receiver as well? If so, does the problem occur when the turntable's power cord is plugged into some other receptacle, especially a separate circuit? |
