I think that the idea that kids are not creative these days is just wanking
in the wind. Kids are different these days in the way that they entertain
themselves and the ways that they interact, but just like 50 years ago,
there are those who are creative and those who are not. True that many more
are spoiled brats, but to say that kids are not creative these days is no
different than our parents saying that R&R was not music.

You need to get to know some different kids.

But why is that? Many kids aren't creative these days. They hang out in
front of the TV or some video game but don't actually build stuff. Places
like Radio Shack as we knew it from the old days can only survive when
people built stuff.

The Radio Shack here in town has closed. It become a cell phone store.

Hear, hear! Look at the number of youngsters who are into web site design,
for instance.
