So, what suggestions do you have for setting up a good efficient workspace for electronics? Here's an example that I found.... http://www.stevenjohnson.com/workbench.htm So what does your workspace, test bench and layout look like? Pictures and links would be great. What has worked for you?...what hasn't? Benches, racks, cabinets, tables, carts.... Any particular test equipment that you would recommend for or against? Thanks TMT My workbench looks like an absolute fright unless I've been very unproductive (and therefore have had time to clean), or I've reached a standstill (and therefore must clean). Otherwise I just look at the pile and ask myself how long ago I used a particular tool, then I look that far down to find it. http://www.geocities.com/skamego/image001.jpg http://www.geocities.com/skamego/image002.jpg http://www.geocities.com/skamego/image003.jpg http://www.geocities.com/skamego/image004.jpg Since we live in an apartment, I have to keep my area clean because we have no space. This is our computer room/office/shop/storage, so I do my best to keep it organized. Once we get a house though, I'm sure this will be a thing of the past. It's nice when it lasts... Steve |
