Default HP P1100 21 inch Monitor

I have a P1100 monitor which was working great yesterday.
Now it has no picture and the LED is flashing fast yellow.
When you power on it goes green then flashing yellow and the menu
will not come on.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Robert

That could mean a lot of things, probably a fault in the power supply or the
horizontal scan circuitry. A good start would be to test the HOT to see if
it's shorted, I'd also check all the rectifier diodes in the output side of
the power supply. If any of those are bad there's a good chance of one or
more dried up capacitors or cracked solder joints.
