Default Mitsu CS27303

This set when first turns (most of the time) turns on with no sound
no osd, good video,channel change.

When I push the menu button screen goes blue and that is all. Pushing
it again may restore it to its previous condition

Does this sound like micro processor trouble? I have read alot of
posts on this faq site about these sets having alot of bad caps.

Once in a while leaving it off for a day or two,(unpluged from
power.) it will come on working perfectly until menu button is pushed,
then it goes into the blue screen mode and when it is pushed again goes
into the above described action..

Mitsubishi T.V.'s are known for all kinds of bad electrolytic
capacitors, look closely, can cause many problems. Rono.

Every polar electrolytic cap needs to be inspected for leakage and any that
are in circuits relevant to the problems need to be ESR and capacitance
tested. You will find about a dozen leaky caps in this model. Don't bother
to do any real troubleshooting untill the leaky caps are changed, the board
is cleaned of residue, and repair to bad traces and connections is made.
