Probably need to acquire the service manual and do some real in-depth
diagnostics of the standby power supply circuits. Any potential that opened the primary of the standby SMPS Transformer probably also induced other damage in the supplies, even maybe the controller circuits. At least with the power led blinking you have minimal standby, enough to run the MCU, Eprom, and the diagnostic routines. I'll bet you have open or damaged components in the chopper - control circuitry of the main supply. wrote in message ... Hi, Aquired this TV about a week ago. Was dead dead. No standby supply.
