Wow. Those are super old. A lot poorer quality than their products of
the seventies forward.

They have made the best "alligator" clip, and other style electrical
"clamps" of any maker I have ever seen.

As far as the quality goes, they have held up well with frequent use
for over 50 years.

That is not quality, that is good care and longevity.

Quality came into those products in the 60s.

Then, idiots over here started buying cheap Chinese CRAP, and the
quality took a dump, just like the country did.

Even high quality makers cannot continue to make them good, and still
compete on price with the crap.

So idiot folks buy the crap.

I folks would buy good quality gear, and NOT the cheap ****, then the
cheap **** makers die out, and all that is left is the good quality, and
is will keep a good price too.

As it stands, if one wants quality, one has to pay a premium for what
used to be the norm.

Perfect example: Metal work. The idiots stopped removing the burrs
decades ago, and actually thought they gained something from that.

Too many idiots in this world cutting corners, and compromising the
quality of everything. Then some other dope goes and buys the crap.
