Seriously though I have heard (reliable source is all, no way to back it),
that 67% of the police (not including state troopers) here in MA were abused
as kids.


I've found the Mass state troopers to be the most
professional cops I've ever dealt with. Helpful when they
can be and not prone to beings pricks for no reason. At
least that's what it was like before I left MA 30 years
ago. Since then I hear the Registry cops (the MDC too?)
were rolled into the troopers, which I'm sure was no
improvement.
