Have a 5 year old Sharp microwave oven and the magnetron has apparently
died. Looked up the cost of replacing the magnetron and the best price
I have found is $112. I can buy a new microwave for less than $150.
Are parts marked up that much or am I just not finding a supplier who
is not a crook.
Thanks
The part is available because the manufacturer is required to make it
available in case of a warranty claim.
Tha part is so expensive because the manufacturer wants you to buy a new
unit, not repair the old one.
