Norton is THE company for real, commercial-quality abrasives. At the
shop we grind 99.9% aluminum and use traditional grinding wheels
rarely. We have a makita 4.5" angle grinder and go through loads of
norton cubic zirconia 80 grit flap wheels. We use fresh ones for rough
work and used ones with most of the grit worn off to put a honed finish
on pieces.
