Well, thanks for looking. I did find a 1-1/16 x 12 TPI die at
McMaster-Carr, which is almost close enough - maybe if I fired
up my dremel and ground out most of its threads...
Or maybe, I'm thinking, if I get a 1" NPT conduit coupler, which
happens to be 11-1/2 TPI, cut some wide saw kerfs and hammer it
down to size...
