I have some small drywall patching to do in a bathroom where the vanity
countertop was removed. After patching i need to texture (knockdown
texture). It will only be a few ~ 3" X 6" areas. What's the best way to
put on small amounts of texture to match a knockdown texture?? Does
Home Depot or other places have texture in spray cans??

Use an old whisk broom, thin mud, and flick it on. Just a very little at a
time, until you have matched what's there. Let it dry for a while, then
knock down. Practice on a piece of scrap sheetrock.
