Sunset and Ortho have books on basic wiring, as does the Time-Life
series (not sure if that's still around), and there's some info in the
Readers Digest "Complete Do-It-Yourself Manual." Study well before you
begin. Doubt you'll kill yourself, but you could cause other
electrical problems or even a fire :-). First Lesson: If you have the
*slightest* *tiniest* doubt about what you're doing, stop immediately,
and call an electrician.
