I walked in with a chewed up Phillips screwdriver and had to get into
a shouting match with the "customer service rep" or what ever other
name they're called to get a replacement! No forms to fill out other
than embarrassing real customers with the noise.

You are probably right. Their automotive service is no better. But I
can still walk in with a broken craftsman product in my hand and get a
replacement without filling out any forms.

I only buy craftsman because of that.
