(also imprisoned) who would be 'welcomed back' but wisely doesn't want to rejoin
or hamilton (convicted of corruption) who admittedly wasn't a party member.

the last *tory* government had an *adulterous prime minister* 2 *jailed ministers*,
one MP *convicted of corruption*
