Why not? The Kims felt no need to abide by it either.


I guess I'm still somewhat baffled by the US eagerness to
jump in to Iraq when N. Korea seems like such a bigger threat
over the long haul.


Has the concept of "low hanging fruit" ever been explained to you?

Not to mention there are certain objective realities which are
applicable to a war in on the Korean peninsula. It has to do with terrain,
a DMZ, and a heavily dug in OpFor.
