You might want to consider buying a 4 inch vise and a clamp set. Six
inch vises seem like a good idea, but they are really heavy when you
need to take them off and clamp a part directly to the table. Note on
a kurt type vise you can remove the jaws and remount them to greatly
increase the size of the vise opening ( although the depth is greatly
reduced. ).
