Looks like you'd have to use clamps to hold it down. Bummer. You know, a
Kurt D-688 should cost you about $325 and it's machined very precisely
with keyways on the bottom and you can get hardened and ground keys which
once you install them you can just drop the vise onto your mill table and
it's trammed. You can retrofit any vise with this feature, but a real Kurt
vise is a joy. No, I can't tell you where to get one for that price, but
that's what I paid for mine.
