I go ATVing in areas that used to be used for training during WW2. We find
live .50 cal rounds all of the time. They look cool cleaned up. We find
thousands of casings and bullets, and occasionally one that has hit
something hard. They look incredible once they have hit something really
hard. They have an armor piercing core that stays pristine while the
copper/lead jacket peels back. Nasty looking.
