How can we help if you don't even tell us which
state/country you are in

Here in the UK we have digital TV via cable, satellite,
and terrestrial transmission

In all 3 cases a normal TV is connected to a set top box receiver/decoder

In the case of digital terrestrial TV cheap set top boxes are readily
available,
even from supermarkets
